| Elliott Sound Products | Project 27 - 100W Guitar Power Amplifier (Mk II) |
The layout for the power amplifier is the same as the new version of the published project. Features short circuit protection, and the ability to make the amplifier with a high impedance output, so it more closely matches the behaviour of a valve output stage.
The layout comprises a single PCB for the power amplifier, which has provision for on board fuses. It uses MJE3055 and MJE2955 transistors in parallel for a rugged, reliable and economical output stage.

The layout for the preamp is as shown in the latest version of the project. The board is designed for maximum flexibility, and will accommodate various mounting methods. The pots and sockets do not mount on the board, so you have complete flexibility for your front panel layout.
By using a premium dual opamp (such as the OPA2134), you can build a guitar front end that is quieter than almost anything on the market, and has excellent sound quality. This board is the companion to the P27A 100W power amplifer.
